Hand plane
Been working on the handplane since the last blog, it is slowly taking shape, not nearly as easy as I thought it would be. Bottom concaves, beaked nose, single wing pin, all on it but really quite difficult to execute on a plank of wood. But, I am enjoying the results. Not nearly done, need to post some pictures over the next couple of days.

Hand plane
My good friend Frank gave me a piece of wood in order to make a hand plane a few weeks ago. Finally drew the outline on the wood, checked that it is symetrical and all that good stuff, and will begin to cut out the rough shape tomorrow.I will post photos of the process. I have been looking forward to making one of these for quite some time, should be fun.
